I am on a desperate attempt to revive and save this blog from the terrible and impending possibility of it being deleted. Weird as it sounds, although my visits and postings here are few and far between, I have acquired an unexplained affinity for it since GradNite is already over and there isn’t really a chance for a gathering anytime soon, so this is the next best thing. It completely baffles me as to why this blog has not been fully utilised till present, and perhaps the main reasons are that many people are oblivious to its existence, or merely do not have the habit of blogging at all. Well, for the former, surely something can be done to publicise the GradNite blog and make it known to all members. The latter, however, is a little tricky because it makes no sense if updating this blog is deemed an obligation rather than for pleasure. The key to this problem, really, is to inculcate a sense of ownership for this blog in all its members, so that there will be an even greater inclination to contribute thoughts or just simple postings on a much more regular basis. In that way, hopefully, the morbid thoughts of deleting this blog will soon be a thing of the past. (Pamela)

Whole Gradnite comm meeting. When's the last time we had one?? haha. been quite some time le.....lol. today discuss about attire & brief through the admin details. meeting lasted for about 1 hour plus i think....den Monday, 12/12/2005 meeting at Suntec for a dry-run. den...hmm...wat else....oh ya....den mus pay $40 on Monday too cos gg to buy the Gradnite tee & the turquoise top for actual Gradnite......

Attire for Gradnite: turquoise long sleeve top. long black pants. black shoes. lanyard.

okay...today is...not as good as yesterday....3ppl turned up...

overall...tis re-ticket-sales is not tat good...but at least we sold another 7 tickets! jus a bit..disappointed...cos it's like..right before u call the JC2s up....you were full of hope..all enthu & optimistic...but after tat....it's jus not wat u expected...

i/cs meeting with Ms Mandy today..almost a near 3 hour long meeting...went through some admin stuff....hmm..in the end cant make it in time for the match...a bit sad...haizz..nvm.... stayed back after the meeting & held another meeting...with log comm members....cracking our head to think of stage deco....we spent near an hour on a certain idea...den we found out tat...it's redundant...cos the event manager already had tat taken care of...so...back from where we started...start from scratch.....we managed to come up with something simple & nice haha...

not too bad ppl...thanks for staying back...& for coming today!

Re-sales of gradnite tickets [part1]

today..1st day of tickets re-sales....10am to 4pm...one word: sian!

didnt set a dress-code but most of us *erhem erhem* turn up in Owens tee..with the exception of...okay okay...wont say the name here..but..yah..okay...anyway..today is not at all...its jus not tat bad..the worst case scenario will be when we stayed in sch from 10am to 4pm & no one turns up! but hahaha at least there's ppl who really turned up! weee~ it's not tat bad i can tell u...4 ppl bought the tickets & 5 ppl reserved! not too bad eh? from 10am to 4pm we had tis kind of response...not too bad at all..i mean it's really better than nthg ritez?

after calling up the JC2s...i really really can understand how the Pub comm feels....its...horrible...tats all i can say...dun want to re-call tat dreadful memory....it's jus simply too horrid...

Good Work today ppl! even though nthg much happened but yah..GREAT JOB!

GradNite Outing to Sentosa

16 Nov - mission--outing to Sentosa---report by 9.30am---->Roger tat

Part 1

the long waited Gradnite Outing to Sentosa is finally here & over. only half the comm turned up...well...at least it was better than my class outing where only 4 ppl turned up...at least tis outing has half the comm turning up...me, Rachel, Lydia, Jeffery, Sharm, Yvonne, Nazi, ZhiYao, Azman & Yuko..tats all

we walked a bit of distance before realising tat the bridge was closed & we had to take a bus in....headed off to Palawan beach. Nice scenery..not as crowded haha

i went off to take some pics of the sceneries first & carry out my little experiment lol! gg to tan myself till there's a StAR on my arm! lol! painless tattoo! it worked! wahaha!

most of them *Yvonne, Nazi, ZhiYao, Lydia, Jeffery & Azman* dived into the water.... -.-''' well...i dun intend to get wet so i'll jus stay on dry land...Yuko & Sharm tanned...Rachel..haizz....eat & sleep...& take pictures lol! we played volleyball & er...frisby....it wasnt v fun...i find it too quiet...as in it's like...we dun make alot of noise...like say when playing frisby..we jus throw to each other with occasion sounds of "haha!" & "heehee!" only...jus v quiet..shld have brought along a portable radio or watever...den at least still got some noise...quite boring...since no one knows how to play volleyball...Rachel was seen kicking it & Sharm seems to be terrified of it....lol! no offence! den they swam to a lotus thingy & i risked my life & went into the water jus to take a picture of them...i could have drowned...but i didnt so lets jus move on with the story....Yuko almost lost her specs in the sea but v luckily & fortunate, she found them! Azman & ZhiYao were up to no good & kept trying to throw the dry ppl into the sea! they got Yuko first! Rachel was the lucky one! she bathed & so they cant possibly throw her in le...lucky ritez? i shld have went with her to the washroom..den i wont suffer tis mishap of being thrown into saltish water! Yvonne & Yuko got buried in the sand! lol! at the end of the day, all of us *including our Rachel* were red in the face from all the sun-tanning! lol!

Part 2

left Azman, me, Rachel, Yuko & ZhiYao, we went for dinner together at Marina Square...we kept blaming Azman for not being able to have buffet cos it's not halal! lol! it was a really good thing tat we changed our mind & went to Marina Square instead of Tiong Bahru Market cos the sky was overcast & might rain any moment...the queue for the bus back to Harbour Front was super long! no choice...or rather..there was an option & tat was to wait patiently for our turn...but..yah...we chose to walk out in the end..i was trying to hitch a ride..& guess wat...the drivers ignored us! okok..maybe jus me...(i shld have lied down on the floor &amp;amp;amp;amp; they will wonder wat happened & pulled over...den i'll jump up & get into their car & drive away~) ok..enough dreaming...so...we went to Marina Square..newly renovated! the place is really nice now! unlike in the past! & the fun doesnt jus end here! we went to the arcade after tat! at first...words like "bored.sianz.bored.sianz.bored.sianz." jus kept gg thru my mind...until i started playin the DrumManiac thingy! Woah! it's FUN! addicted le...die liao...but it was really fun!

Part 3

lastly...we sent Rachel back to the MRT station..we didnt feel like gg back home so early yet...so we went to Starbucks & discuss some Admin stuff *meaning we're working le..no more playing liao...* my first time in Starbucks! still discussing on the train...all the way till i reached home...lol

P.S: i will like to add tat Azman & ZhiYao enjoyed cutting in when other ppl are taking pics which can be no doubt irritating cos it's like they're in almost all the pics but at the same time...it's er...funny to a certain extent
